Lessons are focused on the four schools of singing: French, German, Italian and English. This means you will learn proper technique and performance practice for specific time periods. All the genres of art song will be covered whether they are English Ballads, German Lieder or French Mélodie. This music is often performed in parlors or recital halls.

Lessons are focused on the principle of bel canto technique. Bel canto technique has been a mainstay in proper singing for generations and carries over to all genres of vocal music. To understand what is required of bel canto technique, one must know their fach (voice type) and what roles are appropriate for them in this genre. As this is considered the most glorious art form, because of its need for all things aesthetic to the ears and eyes, it is usually performed in opera houses and it is necessary for the singer to amplify oneself without help of technology.

Broadway
Lessons are focused on the methods used in the EVT method (Estill Voice Training). This means you will learn the correct and healthy way to belt and incorporate necessary character voices into your musical theatre repertoire as needed. There will also be foundational aspects in learning the music of Broadway's Golden Age which requires understanding in bel canto technique. This music is performed on theatrical stages and sometimes on screen.

Pop
Lessons are focused on the modern methods of singing which incorporate all vocal trends, however must be rooted in strong foundational technique. This means you will learn how to sing music that might require aspirate sounds, riffing, improvisation and sometimes glottal stops. This music is performed with amplification such as microphones and recorded in music studios.
